Bitterness, no.  Disgust, yes.  Those boys arms must be tired from patting
themselves on the back.  My dad hit the beach at Omaha on the 6th of June,
1944.  His brother was at Army base near Hickham Field when Pearl Harbor was
attacked.  He won two Bronze Stars, one at Iye Shima and another one on Iwo
Jima.

In all the years I knew both of them I never once heard them say look at what a
great job we did.  Wish I could say the same for *any* Gulf Veteran I've met.
