That is incorrect.
Earlier elections just went on with sometimes rogue nominations ... certain individuals thought that a zonal balance was needed, others made believe they invented the fire, the wheel and the hot water and just deserved to be there.
As a result, historically there was trash in the FTSC.
There never was a nomination committee by the FTSC.
During the previous election in 2022 the ZCC took it upon itself to seek qualified candidates and established such a committee with good results.
Elections lately were run by the FTSC Administrator and not by a committee. Though in a distant past this was different.
