Hello Maurice,

AI>> Can you send on of these messages in the e-test area so mark can
AI>> see the results and we'll know if anything bad is happening at my
AI>> node?

MK> Yes I can but first I'd like to take tonight off.

Take all the time you need, I'm in no hurry but it would be good to get the
facts around all this.

MK> Secondly is the format more or less what we're looking for?

Yep, in this case I am just trying to make sure my node isn't doing anything
unwanted. We might need to change the format as we move along to where we are
going.

MK> Thirdly all three paths of just one at a time?  I found the three at a
MK> time very confusing and have not gotten a handle on it.  Some of
MK> mark's quoted characters were tampered with (dropped trailing bytes)
MK> even though he claimed they were good at his end.  I'd like to cross
MK> reference those and see if it was something between that deleted them
MK> and not at his end.

If possible (might take some doing) we would want different paths to see how
things happen at different points along the road.

MK> I think this might take a little more activity to narrow this down so
MK> the e-test echoarea should be the way to go.  Also I need to check if
MK> I have access to that echoarea from the EuroPoint.  Give me a day and
MK> I hopefully will be better prepared than I was for this initial test
MK> of FTN-ish triangulation.  Seems like it should be of assistance.

I think the e-test area is more or less the net 3634 test area, so it's not on
the backbone but available to those who link at 1:3634/12 (is that right
mark?).

If we could get interested parties linked there (or another suitable area) we
could get some facts together.

Ttyl :-),
