While he may have told you to go piss up a rope, or pound sand. He never threatened excommunication (as far as I can tell, the only person using this word is you), which is pretty much impossible these days unless /everyone/ here that sees your crazy obsession with Ward, all of a sudden decide they don't want to see it any more, at the exact same time. Nobody cares enough to do so, though.. because you're not that important.

Those may have been the rules back then. Even now, if the system that feeds you mail doesn't want to any more, it's ultimately their choice. However, you could have easily found another feed for your mail.
Maybe Ward thought it was none of his business, and had other, more important things to deal with than a guy that likes to insult people after injesting too much vodka?
I don't know, I wasn't there. Either way, you could have done much more than waiting 30+ years to cry about it to an audience that don't know you and/or never heard of you.

I'm basing my observations of you from a 30 year old movie (Billy Madison). That's all I can picture while reading your messages where you carry on with your obsession with Ward.
If you hate everything and everyone you talk to in Fidonet, maybe you should try something new? I'd be willing to bet Reddit is looking for more dousche bags to add to their collection!
Keep it up, though.. and you may just end up in everyone's twit filter. Then you can continue your obsession all by your self with nobody to reply to you. Why do I have a feeling you'd keep talking, even if it was to yourself? ;)
