The thing is, Andrew, the software which I use which is the D'Bridge system, doesn't even mention zonegates anywhere ... it doesn't know what it is (though Nick may always correct me). It is not mentioned in the help-file/manual.
As I started to log all kind of khrap years ago when issues popped-up and it was more import to deny them than to deal with them, I went to look in the outbound LOG and those message went exactly the way they should go.
Besides, if/when Paul's system encountered a message miraculously addressed at 2:2/3 ... as it isn't listed in any modelist inside Fidonet (!), his tracker should have discarded it as undeliverable ...
