Mark,

ML>could legally call viagra a "medicine"... you cannot have a medicine without
ML>disease and you cannot have a disease without a medicine... /that's/ why
ML>everything these days is called a "disease" even when it isn't... just anoth
ML>thing to thank the lawyers for...

I saw a deal on Facebook, where 2 individuals from a pharmaceutical
research firm were having a conversation. The woman says to her male
co-worker "If we could find a cure for [insert illness here], we'd be
the greatest thing since sliced bread". To which, he replies "By NOT
finding a cure for [insert illness here], is how we continually butter
our bread".

Without some sort of prescription drug plan, you're screwed. I went to
buy a 2 pack Epi-Pen (I'm allergic to stinging insects), and with my
insurance, the cost was $8 -- without insurance, it would've been over
$500!!

They say the cost is for research, but a lot of that is likely also in
ads in magazines, publications, and on both radio and television.

Comedian Jeff Foxworthy did a skit on "prescription side
effects"...because with many of the medicines today, the side effects
are WORSE than what the medicine is designed to treat!! In one instance,
"Side effects may include death" -- well, WHAT am I taking it for??

That video is on YouTube -- search for Jeff Foxworthy Prescription
Side Effects -- it's around 2 1/2 minutes long.

Daryl
