In this case, the automatic posting of a out of date data about a program that nobody (or very few) appear to be actually using seems worse than silence.

But that listing is of multiple programs that people actually still use and yeah, it gets updated. I guess with modern web search, these auto-posted "lists" are really of limited use anyway. A simple post that said "google supported FidoNet software" might be more effective and accurate. <shrug> The JAMNNTPD posting just seemed to me to be an odd duck, and with all the data in the post being obsolete, and nobody mentioning it, I think that just means that nobody is actually paying attention. I'm just saying: Hey editor of FidoNews, can we clean this up?
