Sean,

SD> If there's any mistakes in the 'Gazette, I apologize.  I had a diabetic
SD> eye exam today and my eyes are still quite dilated four hours later.

I have a glaucoma check set for next month. If it's starting, and it
becomes too dangerous to drive, I'll have to sell my car.

To make matters worse, the post office has apparently lost the new
cellphone that I ordered from Consumer Cellular. I'm switching to them
from Verizon, which will save me $75 a month. I have something from
Consumer Cellular in the Post Office Box this morning, but if it's a
bill, I can't see paying it, as I have no phone to activate. If I have
to order another one, I'll say "forget it", and once my Verizon line
dies (I've already set up paying the final bill, and cancelled the
service), I'll be unreachable via phone. And, I hate going out without
a cellphone, in case of an emergency. The Post Office has lost so much
mail to/from me that it's not funny. I tell medical clinics that "if
you won't take an over the phone payment, you won't get paid".

Well, without a car or phone, all I'll have is internet...and if that
and/or the computers fail (never mind losing the car), I'm going to be
cut off from the outside world, and stuck at home 24/7/365...with no way
to get out, order groceries and medications, let alone communicate with
others. That will also kill my hobbies of the BBS, ham radio, and square
dancing. Then, I'm going to have a difficult time finding the will to
live. It looks increasingly likely that my birthday for the second year
in a row will have me crying for a week, and not do any computer work
with the BBS, ham radio, square dancing, or email...basically to just
disappear for awhile.

 My, aren't we greedy?? <G> Seriously, I enjoyed the Feb. 28 issue...and
I just read the March 7 issue in the echo. You write rather well. :)

SD> If any of you have a problem printing the FG, let me know and I can

I use MultiMail as well for my QWK processing, and love it.

SD> I hope you all enjoy this issue of the FG!

Thank you for your efforts, sir. :)

Daryl
