Hello Alan,

On Thursday January 13 2022 18:03, you wrote to me:

And neither did anyone else.

So you did not see it? That reminds me of the late 70ties when I lived and worked in Cape Town, South Africa. If you did not want to see apartheid, you did not have to see it, These townships located in the Cape Flats, they were not on the map. No road signs pointing to them. To see them you'd have to go explore. He, let's see where this unmarked, not on the map dirt road goes...

Of course that (not having to see it) only works if you were on the side of the oppressor. For the other side it is different. It was also different for me. I worked in a hospital...

AI> If you don't want zone wars then don't participate in them.

Ignoring a war is difficult for those on the receiving end of the hostilities...

It is also difficult for those whose job it is to serve both sides. Like it was when I worked in that hospital in Cape Town. And when I was the FTSC Chairman...

AI> Janis was always very nice to me. We didn't speak often but when we

AI> That may be different to your experience but that is what I know of

As Janis is not here to defend herself let me just say that my experience is different. Very different. And leave it at that.

AI> Let it rest if that is what you want to do.

I will try, but it may be difficult if the flack starts coming my way again...

AI> Personally, I have no problem if Sean continues the gazette if that is
AI> what he wants to do.

He took the position before and went AWOL after a short time. Janis took over. He had his chance.

Cheers, Michiel
