Correct.

It was only after I suggested Jan.6th, that is 7 days after Janis disconnected "everything" (I think she only kept a cellphone), to nuke the echo that the circus started.

Sean Dennis was never appointed.

Just like T.J.Barlow collecting nodenumbers and hats, Sean collects moderator titles.

AI> I have never thought of the gazette being anything more than an

It was started because people not belonging to Z2, Z3, Z4, Z5 nor Z6 disliked Bjorn Felten...

She was also the main instigator of the Fidonews debacle aided by Ross Cassel and Bob Seaborn. Surprisingly this ended when the one whose name we cannot mention broke ranks ... et voila ... the Fidogazette.

Janis could indeed be helpful. I met her in person in June 2003 when I went to a deceased friend's daughter's wedding in Connecticut ... that was 2 days after the one whose name we're not allowed to mention tried to turn me in for narcotics transport at JFK-airport. Amazingly she skipped the "How was the flight?" portion and within 30 seconds was involved in ex-communications, dropping people from the nodelist, policy complaints ... that stuff while I was interested to know how she was doing as a person.

Janis also was the one who claimed to have secret conversations with the then ZC6 Bin Li. If you called him by modem there was always a Chinese kind of voice picking-up the modem line and, I guess, yelling Chinese insults. When you tried the voice-line he always said "No Inglies, No Inglies" but Janis came around with perfectly structured statements supposedly by him in the purest Oxford English.

She was very very political ...

Have you ever met her in person?

AI> Personally, I have no problem if Sean continues the gazette if that is
AI> what he wants to do.

Sean historically is known for not finishing what he starts. He wanted to be in the FTSC, the question was raised, he claimed "I have changed" and nothing happened ... no change <period>.

So what's going to happen is he is going to produce 2-3 Fidogazette issues with crossposts and rehash stuff and then drop it. He hasn't got the stuff to perpetuate it. That's all.

Onward to my next Covid PCR test.
