Whatever we may think of TJ or his relevance Fidonet did not die when he left.

This echo and the publication have been active for years and years.
You (and everyone for that matter) don't have to like it. You can link the area or not as you please, same goes for the file area.
It's a choice you make and yes there is still some freedom of choice to be had.
