Never had the pleasure of seeing that or much of Bullmoose for
that matter. All I ever really saw was the Bullmoose rail loadout,
when they finally had it high enuff to see over the snowbanks on
that ahem, "dirt" road! :) And of course, the mighty town of
Tumbler Ridge from nuttin' but trees to the finished ville. :)
Otherwise, I just about knew every inch of the entire Quintette
site. From Babcock Mtn. to Sheriff Mtn, and every conveyor,
open pit, road, bridge, building, power line, camp, inbetween. :)
Somewhere around 100 sq. mi. And only the 8 klicks of the electric
rail for Quintette's spur.
All of it from raw nature to final product.
We did make a campsite at the confluence of the Murray and
Wolverine rivers. Maybe you saw that? I think we carved that
out of the trees in summer 82. :)
Maybe if you want to discuss old times there, we should take this to
FIDO_SYSOP, since I'm not really welcomed in FN_SYSOP anymore. ;)
Cheers...
