That's because Rob Swindell (proper spelling) did not write the FTN-related
code in Synchronet; he hired someone else to do it.  He has told me he doesn't
know very much about that code.  So if you're wanting to get things done, you
might want to talk to someone who knows more about FTN and its arcane ways. :)
