I've got this printer connected via USB to a laptop with Windows 8.1, which is
connected by ethernet to a router. There is another PC connected to the router
that runs Windows 2000 that I need to print from.
I already tried using XP printer drivers, generic drivers in W2K and installing
from the printer's CD and no success.
So for now, I'm transfering the files to the laptop and then opening and
printing them from the laptop. I don't have the same software on both W2K and
Win8 computers, so I'm converting everything on W2K to PDF, transfering to the
laptop and printing the PDF. A real pain.
Any suggestions how to print from W2K without going thru the Win8 laptop?
