Title: Sauteed Moong Dal

1 c Split moong dal; with skins
1 Onion; chopped
1/2 ts Cumin seeds
1/2 tb Fresh ginger; grated
1/2 ts Turmeric
2 ts Lemon juice
1 tb Oil
1 ts Salt
1 1/4 c Water
1 Serrano; minced
2 tb Cilantro; chopped
Cool dal in a pressure cooker for 3 minutes after bringing to maximum
pressure; allow to cool before removing lid. Heat oil in a wok and
saute the onion. Add cumin seeds, ginger, serrano, salt, and
turmeric. Mix in cooked dal and stir well, until water evaporates.
Add lemon juice and garnish with cilantro.
