Title: Seven Day Sweet Pickles

Yield: 1 Batch
20 md Cucumbers; up to 30
2 tb Mixed pickling spices
8 c Sugar
5 ts Salt
4 c Cider vinegar
Cover cucumbers with boiling water. Allow to stand overnight, drain,
repeat for the next 3 mornings. On the 5th day, drain and slice
cucumbers in 1/2" pieces. Combine the rest of the ingredients, bring
to boiling and pour over cucumbers. Let stand for 2 days. On the 3rd
day, bring to a boil and seal in hot sterilized jars.
