Hi Greg,
About "Web access, false BBS ID" of October 31:
GG> ...interesting... So exactly how insecure is a telnet connection?
SH> If someone manages to gain control of a system between you and the
SH> BBS, they WILL have your user ID and password as well as be able to
SH> record everything you do.
RW> I have been able to intercept keystrokes over a telnet connection a
RW> heck of a lot easier that I have been able to over an SSH...
I would have refered you to somebody else relatively to this topic,
it's a relief when the right question is addressed to the right guru and
vice versa... Security is relative, i don't suggest to revise ~TelNet~.
