They held the so-called `whistleblower' like a hole-card, but it lost it's
value when it came out the whistleblower was more closely connected to Schiff
and his aides than anything Trump did.
Not allowing republicans the same subpoena power the democrats had, and
shutting off any mention of the whistleblower's name, or even any allusion to
him (especially when John roberts did so in the Senate trial) pretty much put
an end to impeachment.

It makes you wonder what law school is really like when you stop and think
many of those democrats have law degrees!
