I haven't given up yet, I've just been busy.

Why learn Toki Pona? Because there are benefits to be had,
in personal growth, and in other areas.

Already, playing with this constructed language has already
given me a new outlook on language learning. It's faint, but
I can feel it coalescing. Also, it's caused me to put some
effort into memorization, which is great for my brain as I
age. I can feel the benefits.

Looking forward, continuing to learn might give me the
opportunity to socialize with an obscure group of
interesting people. I love that idea.
