    Toki Pona/Vocab, (vernunftzentrum.de), 08/14/2018

This  should  have  been  written  last  night.  I  spent  a
fair amount  of time  reviewing words yesterday,  and didn't
memorize new ones in an organized way (though, I did learn a
few.) I remedied that this morning.

Day 9 Words:

ma     earth, world, land, outdoors
mama   parent, creator, ancestor
mani   money, wealth, large pet
meli   woman, wife
meji   man, husband
moli   dead, dying
monsi  back, rear, behind
mu     animal sound
mun    moon, night sky object
musi   artistic, playful, entertaining

I have a printed version of  the base words, which I've been
marking off as I go. Since this  is day 9 of 12, the list of
words that are left is  getting smaller and smaller. This is
not amazing, but it is wonderful.

The next phase (for me) of  learning Toki Pona feels like it
will be  a lot  more exciting. There  aren't many  rules, it
seems, and that  is good. It will be interesting  to be able
to read a bit and understand, and then to write.
