Been experimenting with making music on Linux again. The tools I used:

-   Audacity to record stuff from the real world.
-   LMMS for arrangement and synthesizers.
-   Hydrogen as a drum machine.

Naturally, it all revolves around LMMS.

I've avoided JACK entirely, for now. I gave Ardour a quick try, but it
feels a little overpowered for my purposes. Maybe at a later stage.

It's really nice how much you can accomplish using only FOSS software. :)


-- edit: Oh, totally forgot about it: [GTick] does a good job as a
metronome. :)
