Got a new workstation.

    o CPU: Intel Core i7-3770, 4x 3.40GHz with HT

    o RAM: 32 GiB DDR3

    o GFX: Intel IvyBridge IGP

    o DSP: 19", matte, 1280x1024

o HDD: Samsung SSD 840 Pro, 256 GB, SATA

    o DVD: LG GH24NS 24x DVD-RAM

    o LAN: Realtek RTL8111/8168 Gigabit (rev 06)

    o Case: CoolerMaster Silencio 550

It's  running  Arch Linux x86_64. Thus, all my machines are capable of
64 bit now. Yes, my previous CPU couldn't do it.

Having so much CPU power and RAM, I expect to  use  this  machine  for
about  10  years  or  even  longer  (except  for  the SSD). I used the
previous machine for 7.5 years and I could have used it  a  couple  of
years more.  But today, hardware is good and cheap and not yet spoiled
with SecureBoot, so it was the perfect time to buy a new machine.

But actually, one of the nicest things is that  it  is  quiet.  I  can
barely hear it. This is absolutely awesome.
