well, the bastard's in. we were always going to be under the heel of
capital. but this is worse, by a lot. absolutely _everything_ is going
to get worse, really --- not just queer issues, not just racism and
immigration, but the whole economic system. we lost 25.7 billion
dollars to retaliatory tariffs in trump's last term, and he's been
talking about doing far more. republicans plan to dissolve the us
department of education; they are putting incompetent conspiracy
theorists in charge of public health.
i'm going to be focusing on getting my passport this year. will i be
able to actually leave? maybe, maybe not. every country has its
problems, but bad things are on the horizon here. even when trump dies,
and there's a damn good chance the old skinbag'll die in office, there
are other demons just waiting in the wings.
