I'm a massive watch nerd

In particular, a massive Sinn fanatic. I think they make the best
analogue tool watches available anywhere in the world. If you want
digital or ana-digi then go to Casio for a G-Shock, but if you want
analogue, you go to Sinn.

They're best known in Germany for their Frankfurt Financial District
line, dressier watches designed to be useful for people working in
banking and stocks, but outside of Germany they're known for their
tool watches which are hard as nails.

One of their watches, the UX, has a water resistance of 5000 meters,
or 500 bar of pressure. The majority of their watches have had their
cases hardened with a proprietary process to 1200 Vickers. Plenty of
them are anti-magnetic to 80,000 A/m, or 1,000 Gauss. Oh, and they
helped develop the TESTAF standard for pilot's watches.

Basically, you can trust them to work no matter what you throw at
them, and that's why I love the damn things.
