I played a game of Diplomacy with the full seven players!

Since it's so hard to get 7 people around to play a
complicated board game, I haven't played it in 8 years or
something like that.

Luckily most people were in the same boat.

It's a stressful game, more so than I was expecting!
I was playing as France and had an alliance with Britain
and Germany from the onset.

They kept the peace with me while they were preoccupied
with screwing Russia over, and when they were done with that,
Britain was busy screwing Germany over.

So I was pretty much left alone while I dealt with Italy,
who was busy pestering Austria-Hungary for some reason and
left everything badly defended.

Britain sent a boat all the way down to the Mediterranean,
helped me for exactly one turn, and then waltzed right into
what was formerly Italian Tunisia, which was also undefended.

We didn't end up playing to completion. We broke at midnight,
and by the official rules everyone who was still alive
ties the game.

This included Russia, who had nothing but a single army when
we stopped.
