  Spent about an hour in the simple pleasure of noodling about
  with piano. In this case; not live piano, but a Decent
  Sampler plugin and Ableton Live. I forget to let myself like
  things like this: I'm not composing, it's not deliberate
  practice, I'm using a simple tool (the Lite version of Live)
  -- it's just play. But play is good.

  I also did a bunch of reading, some YouTube watching and
  some oil painting. If I'd have cycled too it would have been
  almost the perfect day of self-indulgence. Every _single_
  time I have a day like this I think "I should do this more
  often" but the fact I'm writing about it shows: I haven't
  successfully built the habit.
