I've had a lot of pretty good days recently. My partner finally moved
up here and we're moving into an apartment in less than a month! We've
been trying to get everything all lined up for what feels like
forever, but now things are actually happening. It's exciting.
Now I'm just trying to get a job over the summer. None of my
internship applications have worked out so far. It's a bummer, but I
get that no one wants to hire me yet. I don't graduate soon enough and
I don't really have any security experience yet, so why would they?
There are a handful of web development jobs on campus that I'm at
least mostly qualified for, so I'm applying to those and hoping that
one of them works out. Maybe I'll just find a cafe within bus distance
and see if they have any job openings if nothing else works
out. Someone will hire me eventually, hopefully... The future is kinda
scary. I really need to learn some more skills and get experience so I
can get an internship next summer. Agh.
The weather has been really nice recently, though! I'm trying to open
the windows and go for walks a lot. I want to enjoy the weather before
summer truly kicks in and it's 100 degrees every day lmao.
