So, yes. Over the ear headphones do wonders to eliminate the "turning my head every 10 seconds" when I hear footsteps, so I got that going for me.
Last night, the drive home from work, with the kids coming home from school was a bit rough. Buffalo decided to have a blizzard during evening commute time, even leading to a 70'ish car pileup on the 90. Thankfully, only one person died; it could have been far worse than that.
So, all safe home.
The next few days are supposed to be blisteringly cold, with temps in the negatives fahrenheit. That's like super cold for us here. We might actually get a snow day, and if so, I'll be looking forward to remote work.
Working on a new publicly accesible wiki type engine, using git and markdown. Should be done with it soon'ish. It's written a lot like the wiki is here: Clone a repo, make changes, push them up. Doing it mainly for my own edification.
