About Randy
-------------------------------------------------------------------
After 42 years on earth, Randy finally had found a new calling in
collecting pictures of three legged horses. The past four months he
has been vigorously browsing the internet, trying to find every
individual image on any image search engine he could find.

The best pictures are printed out on his old - but trustworthy -
laser printer, put in a small photoframe and hung in the living
room above the dining table.

Randy lives alone in a small one-bedroom apartment just outside the
city. The appartment is dark and cluttered. The sun stained
curtains are closed permanently, as Randy does not like the light
to deteriorate the toner of his carefully printed black-and-white
photo colection. Besides, Randy doesn't like the outside much
anyway. It's generally too bright here in the city for sensitive
eyes like Randy's.

The mornings are typically spent in the bedroom sitting on the
back-end of the bed at a worn desk working on a carefully
self-assembled computer placed in a yellow stained miditower.  The
computer's parts are gathered mainly from second hand shops and
from trash-piles found at the city's waste-collection station. It
feels good for Randy to give these parts a second life. People
throw away way too many things these days. The old CRT he's working
on gives vivid colors and is ideal for viewing photos.

Randy does enjoy browsing random pictures on his thrusty computer.
And after being mesmerized by a picture of a three legged horse
about four months ago, Randy has been on a mission to collect all
pictures of similar horses. The collection must be completed.

It must be said this is a reoccuring event. Randy just likes
photographs. Before this current episode, Randy had been collecting
all the pictures of rusty radiators he could find. However, that
had been a collection which was too broad to finish, causing great
frustration to Randy. He needed to collect something more specific,
more precise. There were too many rusty radiators in the world, and
there were too many good rusty radiator pictures to all fit into
his appartment.

So slowly Randy has been repurposing his photo frames for horses
instead of radiators. With this new collection Randy had regained
his energy and enthusiasm. This was something that could be
finished by him. A collection that could be complete in the end.
