2019-08-21 - Hello World
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Hmm, i am wondering if it's not more handy to just use a bunch of
plain text files for blogging instead of using this phlog thing. It
seems that the phlog entries get formatted for Gopher using tabs,
indicators and whatnot. However, a textfile, just remains a
textfile, so nothing is changed. I think i like that better, as it
allows easier editing later.
However, i do not know very well how all these little tools work
still, so perhaps i am doing something wrong.
Talking about plain text files. Did i already mention that text
files are just plain awesome? I just love the simplicity,
effectiveness and straight-forwardness (is that even a word?) of
them. And i like typing them, and i am not even using a fancy
editor like vim or Emacs, but just nano.
Honestly i think i might be too dumb to understand vim or Emacs.
And frankly, nano does the job great for me. It's a lovely editor
that is understandable for anybody, while it does not get in the
way. What's not to love really?
Anyway, this is my gopher "hello world". Did i already say i like
textfiles?
