"IRP" Notes


Spent some more time chasing research paper references and found a few more simulators that may be of use.

The current trend is toward integration of network simulation tools with traffic simulation tools for modeling VANETs.

Various simulation tools to look into further:

- ns-2
- ns-3
- CORE
- OMNET
- OMNET++
- SUMO
- Veins
- MiXiM
- VENTOS
- INET Framework

Right now it's looking like Veins might be an even more useful place to start than CORE. It looks like Veins integrates OMNET++ with SUMO.

I also happened upon a couple papers that look to discuss an implementation of DTN for AX.25. Definitely worth following up on those!
