Most of this is new to me but I have been on the Net for a long time. I joined tilde.team
because my cool and helpful command-line myrmidon chums from a venerable public access UNIX
system and from the Mastodon public network are here, and because I love the spontaneity of
tilderadio, and I could use more learning.
With byobu I have lots of learning to do.
Fortunately I have a positive attitude and growth mindset. Did you know that in irc,
there's a sedbot that executes sed commands on the last statement made? And you can
use sedbot to edit other people's statements? Hours, nay, days of entertainment.
My learning style is to look through help documentation, make a note on what I'm
confused about, reread the help, experiment a tiny bit, and look for where to find
helpful people before I bollix something.
I am old, but healthy, so I like being old.
I am under a lot of stress at present, so I like to find and use new methods of achieving
and maintaining inner peace.
