One Ejected After Violent Street Racing Crash |

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 11-27-23, 9:26 pm |

LOCATION: 19100 E. Arrow Hwy |
|
CITY: Covina |
|
|
|
Covina PD and CHP along with LAcoFD responded to a multi- |
|
traffic collision with fire at 19100 blk of E. Arrow Hwy. |
|
Once officers and firefighters arrived, on scene they |
|
located a total of three vehicles with one vehicle on |
|
fire, and one person, ejected out of a car and landed in |
|
a parking lot of a business at 19100 E Arrow Hwy. |
|
The person who was ejected from the vehicle was |
|
pronounced dead on scene by firefighters and paramedics. |
|
Unknown at this time how many other victims were |
|
transported. |
|
Per witnesses at the scene who did not want to go on |
|
camera said that the vehicles were racing before the |
|
crash happened. |
|
CHP Baldwin Park station will be handling the |
|
investigation into the fatal traffic collision. |
|
The Los Angeles County Coroner has arrived at the scene. |
|
CHP has both east and westbound Arrow Highway closed. |
