Walmart Strikes: Walmart Workers Walk Out |

In more than 100 cities and 1000 stores nationwide, |
|
hundreds of employees (in Walmart language they are |
|
called 'associates') took part in walk-outs and strikes |
|
against Walmart corporate malpractices on Black Friday, |
|
the busiest shopping day of the year in the United |
|
States. People also responded to a call by many |
|
organizations, including but not limited to United Food |
|
and Commercial Workers International Union, OUR Walmart, |
|
and Making Change at Walmart, to boycott shopping at |
|
Walmart. This action has become a turning point in the |
|
struggle against the giant retailer. |
