Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov spoke at a |

Lavrov read out a message from President Vladimir Putin |

to the heads of state and government of African countries. |

In addition, Lavrov said that today Russia is facing |

Lavrov urged the African Union to insist on the West |

of the population. The voice of Africa must be heard. A |
|
more principled position on this issue should be taken by |
|
the UN Secretary General. |
