In 2002, at the age of 29 years old, I was hit by an SUV |
|
at about 30 miles an hour. The driver hit me in a |
|
crosswalk on Melrose Avenue outside of the now-defunct |
|
metaphysical book store the Bodhi Tree. He hit me on the |
|
left side and the impact hurled me onto his hood. I |
|
apparently dented the grill and then rolled off. Somehow |
|
the car did NOT roll over my brain I got caught by the |
|
rotator cuff and dragged 49 feet into the adjacent |
|
crosswalk. |
|
|
|
This is part of one of my many stories which were pivotal |
|
to making me who i am today. |
|
|
|
