With the threat of severe weather often comes anxiety as
far as safety is concerned. WVUA's Emileigh Forrester
looked for the most important reminders that can keep
people safe during storms, and there are a few common
misconceptions when it comes to severe weather safety.
A tornado watch means tornadoes are possible in your
area, and a warning means a tornado has been seen or
shown on weather radar. When a warning is issued for your
area, that's when you should take cover.
