Longer legs for the Quantum Trifecta (865739) |

Like most people with a Quantum Trifecta Tricopter, I |
|
needed longer legs to stop the battery hitting the |
|
ground. This is my version. |
|
|
|
The kink in the leg is to allow the leg when folded to |
|
pass over the ESCs under the leg. |
|
|
|
I don't have a 3D printer so these were sent to Shapeways |
|
for printing. This has the advantage that I don't have to |
|
worry about orientation, support material, clean up or |
|
anything like that but I do have to wait about 10 days to |
|
see the results. |

The 123D Design file has been included for anyone that |
|
wants to modify it for their own purposes. |

1-Aug-2015 I have changed the design of the rear leg. I |
|
found the original would fold on bumpy landings so I've |
|
mad a bigger support for it but this means it doesn't |
|
fold as nicely. Check out the photos of the change. |
