This HO scale (1/87th) STAIRS WITH HANDRAILS is designed |
|
for 8 feet floor to floor installations. Depending on |
|
your printer, some components may require some minimum |
|
minor trimming. You will need to trim off some of the |
|
handrails depending if you want a left hand or right hand |
|
installation on the two level staircase, but keep them to |
|
use to close off the ends. I exclusively print with PLA |
|
and have found that ordinary clear lacquer thinner (Nail |
|
polish remover) is a wonderful glue. Make a small test |
|
for yourself of two pieces of scrap printed PLA and give |
|
it a try. Let sit for 20 seconds and then try to break it |
|
apart. It leaves no residue and is applied with a small |
|
brush. I've been using lacquer thinner as a glue on |
|
stryene and PLA for years. No sloppy or messy glue to |
|
show when finished. |
