Super simple bracket/spacer for the reverse/rear fog |
|
light for my Great British Sports Cars Zero Roadster kit |
|
car. The back panel of the car slopes at about 8 , IVA |
|
requires the lights to sit at 90 to the road surface. (Or |
|
so I hear, I'm in the US and our requirements are a |
|
little different for registering kit cars.) I figured it |
|
would be a pretty easy no brainer to measure out, design, |
|
and print up frame that sandwiches between the body and |
|
the lights tilting them out the needed 8 to be IVA |
|
compliant. |
|
|
|
You can print these in ABS or ASA but they'd probably be |
|
best printed in a flexible TPU material as they're really |
|
more of a gasket than a bracket or mount. |
|
|
|
The design includes a small seat adapter make sure that |
|
bolts used to secure the light are still mating at the |
|
correct angle. |
