You will Need
8- 15x3 mm Round neodymium magnets. On the body post
mounts the the magnets need to be as close to center as
possible. The body Post magnets can be 12mm but 15mm will
work the best.
4- M3 x 8 Hex Flat cap Screw ( Screws can be shorter but
any longer wont work)
4- M3 washers
4- Body Clips
You may also put screws in but I'm not sure of the size
you would need.
Print flattest side down for all parts.
The Body post will need to be lowered as far down as they
are able to go. The rear Body mount had to Be trimmed
slightly at the bottom of each post for a low fitting
body.
My rock sliders are also raised with 1/2 shims. The shims
where 3d printed.
"TRX4 Rock Slider Spacer 1/2"
I glued the magnets in place with Super Glue.
You will need to make sure the correct polarity matches
up. The way that i do it is to let them all stick
together. With a sharpie, mark an end and then take that
magnet off and work your way down the stack until they
are all marked. All you need to do after that is make
sure all the 12mm magnets have a dot facing up and all
the 15mm body magnet don't have a mark facing up or Vise
Versa.
I will say if your just Trail Crawling these work great.
If you're going to do some bashing with it then the
magnets may not hold up.
Any constructive criticism is welcome.
Thanks.
