I was inspired by the original design by
[TanyaAkinora](http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1941167),
a lamp in the style of Kumiko Shoji. So please read her
original project description for more information about
this style of Japanese architecture.
**Summary of the changes I have made to the design are:**
- I changed the design of the base and uprights from a
Modula design to a unified-body design. This improved the
strength & rigidity of the Lamp.
- I then increased the size of the Lamp by increasing
it's dimensions from 100x100x100 to 195x195x195mm.
- 11 new Panel pattern designs, I also included the
original Panel pattern design by
[TanyaAkinora](http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1941167),
resized so it works with my new design.
- The interchangeable Panels design allows for easy
installation and removal of the Panels. This makes it
easy to change the Panels to a new pattern in the future.
- I replaced the candle with a safer USB LED light with
dimmer control. This LED light can be powered from any
standard USB charger plug, Battery pack or a device with
a USB port.
