I wanted a small case that fit my C.H.I.P. that would fit |
|
a 30mm fan for cooling. I couldn't find one, so I |
|
designed one. While the fan is a 5VDC unit, it's plugged |
|
into the C.H.I.P. ground and 3.3VDC and runs very |
|
quietly, while still pushing plenty of air to cool this |
|
little guy. The battery compartment is sized to |
|
accommodate the 4000mAh battery that came with the |
|
original Kickstarter campaign, but the SCAD files are |
|
attached for tweaking to your heart's content. |
|

Additionally, you'll notice that there are heat sinks |
|
installed. I bought some bulk, small (14mmx14mmx6mm) heat |
|
sinks and put one on each of the major chips on my |
|
C.H.I.P. to help dissipate heat. |
