Designed to be printed with soft PLA. 20% infill with |
|
3,3,0,0 layers. Slowed the print when |
|
finishing the hinges. Takes about 40 minutes to print |
|
both sides. A hot water bath will let it flatten out. |
|
|
|
This material seemed to have a high adhesive quality. I |
|
started with a clean glass bed, put on a coat of auto wax |
|
and scrapped the excess off with a razor blade. Used HD |
|
hair spray on top of the wax for a nice clean print with |
|
easy release. This worked for a large flat print. |
|
|
|
Takes two holders to make the build. I heated and |
|
straighten regular PLA for hinge pins. Will also print |
|
with TPU. |
|
|
|
V2. Designed to be printed with TPU. Soft PLA is not soft |
|
enough for the hinge. Hinge printed @ 100% .2 layer, |
|
reduced speed for the last part. Ends may try and lift up |
|
during print. They may curl after print. Extra time spent |
|
on hinge cleanup will help the assembly process. |

Side printed @ 30% 4.5.0.0 @ 100% speed. 2x=38min approx. |
|
|
|
Used glued@ hinge to side attachment. This build seems to |
|
adhere to the cup better. |
