Smoke from agricultural fires in northern India continues |

to back up against the Himalaya Mountains on November 6, |

2003. This image shows a river of haze stretching all the |

way from the Indus River valley (top left) eastward to |
|
where the Ganges River empties into the Bay of Bengal |
|
(right center edge). At top, the skies over the Tibetan |
|
