Summer RISE 2018 was an incredible opportunity for |
|
Patience's daughter Afia-Grace because it allowed her to |
|
actually be in a real-life work environment, interact and |
|
have a voice with professionals in her field of interest. |
|
Summer RISE is an initiative led by Montgomery County |
|
Public Schools in collaboration with local businesses, |
|
government agencies, higher education institutions, and |
|
nonprofit organizations. It is a three to four week/60 to |
|
80 hour program for rising MCPS juniors and seniors to |
|
participate in a career-based learning opportunity during |
|
