Kettering To Rushden Lakes (both Ways) On Summer Solstice |

Summer Solstice drive from Kettering (Barton Seagrave), |
|
south on the A6, through Finedon and past Irthlingborough |
|
and over the River Nene o the re-designed Chowns Mill |
|
Roundabout (recently completed). I then head west on the |
|
A45 and at the next junction take the exit for Rushden |
|
Lakes shopping centre and the video follows me driving |
|
right to the far end of the car park where the cinema is |
|
located. |
|
The video then jumps to three hours later and the sun is |
|
just setting at 9.20pm. I then travel back on the same |
|
route with snippets of that drive as the last sighting of |
|
the sun disappears beyond the northerly horizon. |
