The issue considered in this article is the problem of |
|
translating English vernacular into Russian, using |
|
examples of the works of English writers, particularly |
|
Jerome David Salinger The Catcher in the Rye . Even in |
|
the recent past, vernacular very often remained |
|
unreproduced in a literary text. However, scientists - |
|
linguists and translators have begun to attach great |
|
importance to this aspect of translation, therefore, over |
|
the past few years, there has been a clear shift in this |
|
regard in the translation of fiction. |
