June 10 - She began her nonprofit, "Truth in Accounting"
to give citizens factual information on what government
finances really were -- not using the financial gimmicks
so many government entities employ to make their books
look balanced.
In our exclusive interview with Sheila Weinberg, the CEO
and Founder of the "Truth in Accounting" organization, we
hear why she says the state's numbers still don't add up
to a balanced budget, and why accounting practices show
we're under-paying pensions by $4 billion a year.
The state's pension ramp is a political tool she says --
not an accurate measure of the funds needed to meet the
obligations of the state's pension systems. And she notes
the Federal Government says the state continues to engage
in "severe underfunding of the state's retirement systems"
Politics, Personalities, Policies and business
developments! Stay in touch with one of the most
politically active, and important states in the USA!
