A strong cold front moving across the country leading to |
|
a major blizzard up north brought severe weather to |
|
portions of Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan. High winds |
|
and blinding rains slammed central and southern Illinois |
|
Friday afternoon as temperatures behind the front |
|
plummeted nearly 40-degrees after highs on Friday topped |
|
out in the low 70s in areas. For many folks in southern |
|
Illinois, this was the first measurable rainfall since |
|
mid-October, with some areas receiving upwards of an inch. |
